About Destination KP
Destination KP is brought to life by Agape at Kings Park Community Sports Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Long Island community. We maintain that participation in sports fosters confidence, cultivates resilience, creates enduring memories, and promotes both physical and mental well-being. Above all, we are committed to ensuring that every child has access to a safe and welcoming place to play.

Mission statement
Agape Community Sports Services is committed to investing in, promoting, programming, maintaining, developing, and operating recreational sports facilities for the benefit of the general public.
In collaboration with state and local governments and community partners, ACSS provides:
Why we do it
Sports change a kid's trajectory.
We prioritize having fun while recognizing the value of advanced sports training. We provide free pickup games, free training, assistance for those who need it, leagues, and tournaments for youth and adults. For serious and professional athletes, our facility features Long Island's most advanced, science-backed sports laboratory, training center, and wellness center.
Children First — When children play sports and join a team, they build self-esteem, confidence, and strong social skills. Sports also help them stay healthy, become more resilient, and learn important ways to connect with others.
Promotes self-esteem
Every save, goal and high-five builds the confidence kids carry far beyond the field.
Creates a healthy lifestyle
Active habits formed through play become the foundation of lifelong well-being.
Teaches goal setting
Practice, progress, repeat — sports show kids how effort turns ambitions into results.
Builds real teamwork
Learning to win, lose and grow together is a skill no classroom teaches quite like a team.
Develops time management
Balancing school, practice and game day teaches kids to own their schedule early.
Prepares kids for adversity
A tough loss handled well is a rehearsal for every setback life throws later.
Our roots
Three decades of love in action.
